student accommodation in oxford

In Oxford we offer the host family accommodation. For a successful stay we believe you need a friendly and comfortable environment and it is for this reason that we do our best to ensure it. We carefully select and regularly visit each host family. With most of them we’ve been working since the beginning. Standard, rooms are booked from the Sunday before the first course day until Saturday morning after the last day of lessons. Extra nights are subject to availability.

Host family
Our English host families will offer you their hospitality, a cosy place and the opportunity for a true cultural exchange during your stay in Oxford. Host families are located on an average 15 minutes travel distance from the school (maximum 25 minutes). Please mind that a host family is not always the typical family, but can also consist of a divorced woman (with or without children) who likes to cook for foreign students.

We believe this one of the best ways to get to know the culture of the country. Having your own room and keys, you will enjoy this home-style experience yet still have the comforts of independence. But it must be understood that each student must adhere to the rules and costumes of their family. You share the common areas such as the bathroom and living room with the family. The kitchen can be used only for making coffee, thee or a sandwich. If you prefer to have a private bathroom, you should choose the en-suite option.

In Oxford the host family with half board includes breakfast and dinner during the week and full board (so breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the weekends. Bed sheets are available, but you should bring your own towels. Reservations for double rooms can only be made for students travelling together.
