| To do |
- Take a free, two hour, guided walking run by volunteers. Learn about York's history and see some of the most important buildings and places in York. With so many things to do in York, it's easy to miss things.
- Take the York Boat. A one-hour river trip along the river Ouse starting at Lendal Bridge or Kings Staith. This is very nice and relaxing.
- Pub night! York has more than its fair share of bars, as the gates in the old city walls are called bars, such as Bootham Bar and Micklegate Bar. But there are plenty of good traditional pubs too, for those who are thirsting for history and drinks.
