For a successful stay we believe you need a friendly and comfortable environment and it is for this reason that we do our best to ensure it. We carefully select and regularly visit each accommodation. With most of them we’ve been working since the beginning. Rooms are booked from the Sunday before the first course day until Saturday morning after the last day of lessons. Extra nights are subject to availability.
In Toronto we offer the following accommodation types:
To get the real Canadian student experience we recommend a stay at a Toronto University residence. We work with two student residences,
Summer residence (May-August)
The summer residence is located on a 40 minutes travel distance from the school and occupies approximately 15 floors of a 22 story building. Within each unit you find 4 or 5 single bedrooms, sharing 2 washrooms and a kitchen/common lounge area. It is a great way for guests to meet new people, yet maintain your bedroom privacy.
The residence has two roof decks located on the 22nd and 5th floor that offer a great view of the city and a garden. There is a paid laundry facility to do your own laundry and there is a free wifi area to connect to the internet with your laptop.
The single room includes, a bed, desk, chair etc. bed sheets and towels are available. Students get a daily basic continental breakfast with their stay. Guests are welcome to check-in any time after 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am. The minimum age for the student residence is 18 years old. Please note we cannot guarantee availability for the student residence. In case a place in the student residence is not available we can offer you alternative accommodation in a host family for the corresponding prices published at our website. Make sure to book in advance. In order to reserve the student residence, the full accommodation amount has to be paid in advance.
Available all year round, the CCNM residence is a great option for those who want to life of a Canadian student. The residence is located near Leslie subway station, about 30 minutes travel distance from the school.
Each floor has a number of shared lounges complete with satellite television and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. A kitchen equipped with all major appliances adjoins each lounge. Coin operated laundry facilities are available on each floor and there is a free wifi area to connect to the internet with your laptop..
We only have single rooms available. Rooms include a single bed, desk and chair, wardrobe closet and a personal refrigerator.
Most students you share the residence with are Canadian students in naturopathic medicine, so you will have to live by the rules of the residence, which means cleaning your own room and occasionally the common areas. Please note we cannot guarantee availability for the student residence. In case a place in the student residence is not available we can offer you alternative accommodation in a host family for the corresponding prices published at our website. Make sure to book in advance. In order to reserve the student residence, the full accommodation amount has to be paid in advance.
Our Canadian host families will offer you their hospitality, a cosy place and the opportunity for a true cultural exchange during your stay in Toronto. All families are usually located within a 30-35 minutes travel distance (maximum 50 minutes) from the school. Please mind that a host family is not always the typical family, but can also consist of a divorced woman (with or without children) who likes to cook for foreign students.
We believe this one of the best ways to get to know the culture of the country. Having your own room and keys, you will enjoy this home-style experience yet still have the comforts of independence. But it must be understood that each student must adhere to the rules and costumes of their family. Obviously you share the common areas such as the bathroom and living room with the family. The kitchen can be used only for making coffee, tea or a sandwich.
In Toronto the host family offers the full board option that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bed sheets are available, but you should bring your own towels. Reservations for double rooms can only be made for students travelling together.
